Currently Playing

I wish I could put music up for everyone to hear. Sometimes I hear something and I want everyone in the world to hear it and experience it like I do at the same time. I was trying to write what music does to me a minute ago and realized for the millionth time that I can't. The reason I love music so much is because it goes beyond words, so writing anything about it turns out to be feeble.
One day I want to get a picture of someone listening to a piece with a tear rolling down their cheek. That would be a very identifiable photo to me.
You should try this sometime: Wait until night and get in a room with a decent sound system. Turn off all the lights and lay flat on your back on the floor and listen to a classical piece that you love. Barber's Adagio for Strings is a good one. Or Rachmoninoff 2nd piano conerto, 2nd movement. Or Tchaichovsky's Romeo and Juliet. Ok so there's a lot, but the Barber is one of my favorites to do this with. When you're lying down and everything is quiet but the music and there's no light it heightens the experience of listening. Call me weird but don't knock it until you've tried it with a really incredible piece. Actually it's also great to lay out on the grass and do that in the summertime at night. :) Ohh I miss being in a world full of great music. When you are in music everywhere you turn there is something new and beautiful around the corner. I miss it much.

Anyways, so what's currently playing?
Brahms Klavierstuke Op.118, No.2

It's especially good if the volume is just a bit loud so your mind doesn't have the option of getting distracted. :)
