Crooked Elf

There's a frame on my wall that is crooked. I fix it and then I look at it again later and it is crooked. I know I put the hook on in the middle because I measured it to the millimeter with a ruler. I know it is sitting straight on the nail. I make the frame straight and then no matter when I look at it again, it's crooked. I think that there is the spirit of a crooked elf living in my bedroom that tilts it every time I look away.

Say the word CROOKED out loud 10 times slowly. It's one of those words that starts to sound weird after awhile. It almost makes me feel crooked. It's like an onomatopoeia, but not. That would make it a quasionomatopoeia. And there it is. The first word created by the Avalon Court Grammarian Society.

I know at least Kelly's laughing.

That I am. That I am. I'm so glad that the ACGS is now pioneering new literary terminology. We should win an award. Not only are we creating new words, but we are creating new words that deal directly with literature and language. Kudos, Tammy, co-president and co-creator. Bravo. Grammarians of the world salute you.
