What is my business?

What IS my business? When it comes to your friends and family, what is the space between, "That's not how I would do it," and "That's not how the Bible says to do it?" There's another space in there where it feels like people are doing things wrong but I haven't a chapter and verse. You can't site common courtesy because what is common to one is not common to another and it basically all depends on what your mother thinks is common courtesy and therefore taught you. I guess the answer is always treating one another in love. It's just so frustrating when you love someone and you try to flag them down when they're heading down a path you can see leads to a place you know they don't want to be. I guess once you tell them so many times you just have to let go. Their decisions are not my responsibility. This is when it feels incredibly unfair that you have to watch them go down, down... all the while warning them it's going to turn out badly... and in the end if they're not going to listen, they're not going to listen... and because you love them you can't just write them off but you still have to hang around to pick up the pieces. Man that really reminds me of my relationship with God at times. Talk about true love. How many times have I blatantly ignored what He's had to say and He tells me over and over and I think that I'm right and there I go. He watches me ruin everything and still hangs around to pick up the pieces. And forgive me. And then, amazingly, bless me. What a perfect example to follow. I guess that following His example is the answer. I guess it's always the answer. Duh. I'm sucha human to forget stuff like that.
