washington

We went to DC today and I took this picture at the WWII Memorial which is a sweet fountain where you can just sit and relax. You can see the bottom of the Washington Monument on the left in the background. It was an unbelievably hot day but this memorial was probably my favorite part of the day. I don't think either I'd ever seen it before or I never had the chance to really check it out. There are quotes written in the stone all over but this one has always been one of my favorites. You can also see some random people on the left. I like random people. I also got some pictures of me and the girls at the Lincoln Memorial (random place I know) but they didn't turn out as well for some reason. Perhaps it was because I dropped my delicate camera on the concrete ground. The only thing that seemed to break though was the lens cap. Now I'm just writing for the sake of hearing the cool sound the keys make when I type. Ok that's enough.
